Our facility is just five minutes from the Expressway, so chances are good we’re on your way. We are located behind VCA Roberts Animal Hospital. We are open for day care 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Our Boarding lobby hours are 8am-10am and 4pm-6pm on weekends and holidays. We are closed for day care on Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day.

Our Staff

We are a small family owned business that considers all the dogs part of our family. Tim has been the onsite owner since 2007. Having him onsite at day care allows him to have a personal bond with all the dogs. The dogs also bond with him and allows for an easy transition when your dog needs to stay overnight. Your dog feels like they are staying with a friend!

Syd, our nine year old Siberian Husky, is our mascot. He is one of our most important staff members as dogs have their own way of communicating to each other. Syd has been part of the team since he was 12 weeks old and helps integrate new dogs to the day care setting. He often stays overnight, so your dog sees another familiar face. Syd is also a certified therapy dog and goes to nursing homes and schools in the area spreading his sweet smile.

We also have Boris, Nena and Slugger in our pack who are all ready to make new friends and play with your dog.

Our other staff are part time members who have a great love of caring for animals with all different backgrounds in the animal care industry.

Convenient Location

K-9 to 5 is dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable place for your dog to play, socialize, and to board.

Our climate controlled facility ensures the dogs are comfortable while both exercising and having down time over night.

Our staff monitors playtime and proper socialization. A member of our staff is on site during over night stays. Systems are in place to alert for any potential equipment failure and monitors temperature. Dogs are on closed circuit tv to ensure their safety throughout their stay.

We are located behind VCA Roberts Animal Hospital, which gives us immediate access to emergency care, if needed.

I Trust K-9 to 5

I wouldn't trust anyone else but K-9 to 5 to take care of my baby Loki. He's a high energy boxer who is wiped out everytime he comes home. Whenever I say to him wanna go to doggie daycare, he runs right to the door and will whine until we leave. I also have left Loki there when I have gone away and I when I check in I always get updates with photos.

Best Kennel Around

My 2 French Bulldogs love going to play with their friends at K-9 to 5, they get so excited as soon as we turn onto the street and come home exhausted! I love knowing I can trust them with my babies!!! I've also left them overnight for boarding and I'm glad I know they are having fun and staying in the best kennel around!!

This is a great place to bring your dog. They play and have fun the whole time. Their boarding facility is like a hotel for dogs. Moxie gets very excited every time I bring him.

I can't begin to express my thanks. I boarded my dogs in March, for the first time. one of my dogs is very skiddish, and the other...well, she is one of a kind! lol....they took such good care of my babies. Very professional, and caring. It is very clear that it is more than a business. They genuinely care.
